Training and education are key factors for shaping the future in the agricultural sector and in rural areas. During the International Workshop the participants will develop approaches for providing modern and practical training and education.
The workshop focuses in particular on
- the current challengesfacing rural youth,
- methods to strengthen people‘s willingness to assume personal responsibility,
- improvement of the training and educational situation in rural areas,
and, - the worldwide exchange of ideas and experiences.
The participants will develop specific proposals for putting into action what they gain from the workshop such as
- successful management of educational projects,
- building up structures for rural youth work and
- imparting leadership skills.

The International Workshop imparts skills and knowledge in the following areas:
- planning and implementation of projects, especially for sustainable training and educational work,
- key qualifications for leading groups,
- management of youth work in rural areas,
- taking global and local issues of rural development into account,
- promotion of an international exchange of experiences.
